Yes, a one stop shop where you can enter a few bits of basic info, press a button, and out comes reams of text for your privacy policy, terms and conditions, FAQ, corporate blog posts (pro edition only) and patent applications (super pro edition only). Obviously, there's going to be tags, discussions, groupings, folksonomies, memes, and All The Usual Bollockx™. I suppose it already exists.

So, I was exploring LinkedIn this morning, mainly to see if I could find another contact for a large US software publisher which refuses to return my calls or answer emails (apparently it "revolutionises how the world engages with ideas and information" - apparently by ignoring all outside contact. Well, it's certainly a new approach). Anyway. I came across the "service recommendation" section, and discovered that LinkedIn seems to extend slightly beyond the software & services industries these days... ...so, not only house cleaners, but HONEST house cleaners!!! (Those of you not totally up to speed with the more obscure corners of the English language might find the following useful) I'm a sloth. Find me on LinkedIn (Apparently Ms. Sloth, who seems to offer services in Melbourne, Australia, is a highly recommended Independent Management Consulting Professional. How she (it?) ended up in the Top House Cleaners list, on the strength of 1 recommendation, must remain a mystery - and Rita M. Perez ranks below her/it.....)

I've always wondered about this option in Apple Mail: I mean, why would I NOT want this ? Is deselecting it the same as "send Windows-hostile attachments" ? And why isn't it set by default ?

Over at the tranquil candlelit gardens of memory-of.com, hides the most remarkable bargain I've ever come across on the Internet: "A one-time sponsorship fee of just $94.95/£52.75 will ensure that the memorial website will remain online forever" Forever ? Wow. That certainly kicks the average archival service into touch. I wonder what the claims procedure will be when grandad's page goes belly up in 27,000 years' time ? I wonder how they're going to deal with solar extinction ? These people really must have the art of advance planning well and truly sorted.
