well I seem to have
well I seem to have solved my IE on Windows problem... how ? By adding:
!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"
at the top of each page.
I never realised it was so important
