Madeira

Madeira is a fascinating place. A small island of towering peaks, covered in dense forest and interlaced with the man-made levada canals, for which for once the term “awesome” could be justified. For me at least Madeira is very challenging to photograph, for all sorts of reasons. I don’t feel I’ve really cracked it yet, but here are some initial attempts.
