#36 Parc Pont de Gau

Here I present my credentials as a wildlife photographer. Well, more or less wild life. The Parc Post de Gau is a wildlife sanctuary in the Camargue, a few km away from the coastal village of Les Saintes Maries de la Mer. The bird population is indeed wild, although monitored, and fairly accustomed to humans wandering up and down the walkways. Some species are more skittish than others, but all are considerably more approachable than in locations outside of the sanctuary. It’s certainly a good place to practice photographing birds, and a nice place to spend a few hours even without a camera.

Boring gear details: OM System OM-1 with 100-400 mm zoom lens.
